An application for a rezone (RZ 12-001) to amend Chapter 17.645 (Signs on Public Property) of the Brentwood Municipal Code by establishing two additional locations for temporary community event banners, as recommended by the Community Event Banner Ad Hoc Committee and the Planning Commission. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND AVAILABILITY OF A FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT FOR THE BRENTWOOD BOULEVARD SPECIFIC PLAN PROJECT
Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Brentwood will, at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the normal course of business permits on February 7, 2012, hold a public hearing to consider the following:
An application for a General Plan amendment (GPA 12-001) to change the land use designations for various properties along Brentwood Boulevard in order to establish the Brentwood Boulevard Specific Plan; and an application for a Rezone (RZ 12-002) to change the zoning classifications for various properties along Brentwood Boulevard in order to implement the Brentwood Boulevard Specific Plan.
The project site encompasses approximately 265 acres located on both sides of Brentwood Boulevard, beginning at Second Street on the south and extending to Delta Road on the north. The Brentwood Boulevard Specific Plan includes approximately 44 acres for Medium Density Residential development, three acres for High Density Residential development, 29 acres for General Commercial development, 104 acres for Mixed-Use development (including a High Density Residential component), 80 acres for Mixed-Use development, and six acres for Open Space development.
A Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR) has been prepared for this project pursuant to the California Environmental Quality Act to assess potentially adverse environmental impacts. The FEIR is available for review and comment until 5:00 PM on February 6, 2012.
