What if I missed the registration deadline?
Waitlists will be established once an activity has reached maximum capacity or the registration period has closed. Waitlists will only be taken up to five (5) business days after registration has ended. Please check listings for program deadlines. If a space opens, you will be notified. Being placed on a waitlist does not guarantee placement in an activity. If placed, an additional service charge of $22 will be added to the cost of the program.
What if I order the wrong size jersey for my child?
Once we have placed on order with a manufacturer we are not able to make changes, please make sure that you order the correct size when you fill out your registration form. Sample sizes are available for most sports at the Parks and Recreation office.
Can my children play together on the same team?
Siblings will always be placed on the same team if they are in the same division. Children are allowed to “playup” (play in a division above their age group), however they are not allowed to play-down.
May I request that my child be placed with the same coach as last year?
In order to maintain a fair and balanced league, we do not honor these requests. Our department facilitates recreation based sports activities where emphasis is placed on children having fun, meeting new people, and experiencing different coaching styles.
Are there playoffs?
As we offer recreational or non-competitive based leagues, we do not schedule playoffs.
Can we expect a trophy at the end of the sports program?
Different types of awards are given out at the end of each sport program. Your coach will be notified at the beginning of the season as to what to expect in the way of awards.
