Would you like to register your child for a recreation program but can’t because of a limited family budget? Partial financial assistance may be available through our Youth Activity Scholarship Program, which is based solely on need, not school grades. To be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:
Brentwood resident. (No other areas will be considered.)
Under 18 years of age.
Meet the income eligibility chart listed in the application.
Applicant must fill out the application and provide some form of verification of
their yearly family income.
The City of Brentwood, Parks and Recreation Department funds these scholarships through a community donation program. Applicants that meet the requirements are eligible to apply on a first-come, first-serve basis. Financial commitment can vary from year-to-year, depending on the financial support from the community. A limit of $125 in scholarships per eligible family is available each fiscal year, as long as funds are available. The scholarship will subsidize 50% of the class/sport/activity fee. Certain classes can not be repeated, exception would be music that has different levels, sports etc.
