Utility Billing Service is your first point of contact when starting water, sewer and garbage services in the City of Brentwood. We will establish your services and answer any questions you may have regarding service levels and fees.
Utility Billing is also responsible for preparing and mailing the monthly bill for your water, sewer, and garbage services and posting payments to your utility account. Payment is due upon receipt of your bill. A final due date will also appear on your billing statement. A 5% penalty will be added if your bill is not paid by the due date. If payment is not received within forty (40) days of the billing date, your water service will be discontinued.
To make bill paying easier, you may sign up for automatic payment from your checking or Visa/Mastercard account. You can download the form here or call (925) 516-5415 to receive a copy of the form.
Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday, except holidays. For your convenience, the City has a payment drop box located outside City Hall at 708 Third Street and another at the Senior Center at 193 Griffith Lane to facilitate drop-off of your payment after office hours.
If you do not receive your bill or have billing questions, please call Utility Billing at (925) 516-5415. |
