CITY OF BRENTWOOD
Minutes of July 23, 2002
A regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Brentwood was called to order at
10:11 p.m. in the Council Chambers located at 734 Third Street, with Chairman McPoland presiding.
Present: Members Beckstrand, Gomes, Hill, Petrovich, Chairman McPoland

1. Approve Minutes of July 9, 2002. Pulled for further discussion.
2. Approve a Resolution adopting Amended and Restated Bylaws of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Brentwood. Pulled for further discussion.
Item 1 Approve Minutes of July 9, 2002.
It was moved/seconded by Hill/Petrovich to approve the minutes of July 9, 2002 as recommended by staff. Motion carried with Member Gomes abstaining.
Item 2 Approve a Resolution adopting Amended and Restated Bylaws of the Redevelopment Agency of the City of Brentwood.
Member Petrovich requested that Gina Rozenski, Redevelopment Analyst recap the item for the benefit of Member Gomes who was not in attendance at the last meeting.
Ms. Rozenski explained that in preparing the 2002/03 Budget, staff noticed that the Agency members were not receiving the allowed compensation of $30.00 per meeting. Ms. Rozenski requested direction from the Agency as to whether to initiate the payment of compensation at this time, and whether compensation should remain at the designated amount of $30 per meeting. At the meeting of July 9, 2002 Agency Members directed staff to abolish the $30.00 per meeting compensation.
Member Gomes concurred with the decision.
RESOLUTION NO. RA-57
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF BRENTWOOD ADOPTING AMENDED AND RESTATED BYLAWS
It was moved seconded by Gomes/Hill to waive full reading of Resoltuion RA-57 and adopt said resolution as recommended by staff. Motion passted by the following vote:
AYES: Members Beckstrand, Gomes, Hill, Petrovich, Chairman McPoland
