B Meeting Date: June 24, 2008 Subject/Title: Recognition of outgoing Brentwood Youth Commissioners Prepared by: Barbara Gary, Recreation Supervisor Submitted by: Craig Bronzan, Director of Parks & Recreation RECOMMENDATION Recognition of outgoing Brentwood Youth Commissioners PREVIOUS ACTION Youth Commissioners Nick Castle, Leah Hocking, and Belinda Ordaz were approved by City Council on June 12, 2007 for a two-year term beginning July 1, 2007. Sarah Simmons and Christine Mendez were approved by City Council on June 27, 2006 for a two-year term beginning July 1, 2006. BACKGROUND The City of Brentwood recognizes Brentwood Youth Commissioners for their service to the Youth Commission, City of Brentwood, and the community upon completion of their term or resignation. The following Youth Commissioners will be recognized: Nick Castle: 7/1/07–6/30/08 Leah Hocking: 5/25/04–6/30/08 Christine Mendez: 5/25/04–6/30/08 Belinda Ordaz: 6/24/03–6/30/08 Sarah Simmons: 7/1/05–6/30/08 FISCAL IMPACT None |
