Accept the 2006/07 Annual Report of Fee Waivers and Donations.
On January 24, 2006, the City Council approved Resolution No. 2006-18
amending the Council/Administrative Policy Manual to add a new Policy No.
10-12 related to the Policies and Procedures for Requests for Use of City
Funds and repealed Resolution No. 99-99.
On September 12, 2006, the City Council accepted the 2006/07 Annual Report
of Fee Waivers and Donations.
When the City Council passed Resolution No. 2006-18 on January 24, 2006, it
established procedures and criteria to be used for fee waivers and/or
donations. It also established that an annual report will be provided to the
City Council of fee waivers or reductions and/or donations. The attached
document also includes Contributions to Other Agencies and recipients of the
Business License Grant Program. This has been done in an effort to show the
complete picture of the impact of funds given or fee waivers given to other
agencies or groups.
Contributions, grants, donations or fee waivers made by the City of
Brentwood for fiscal year 2006/07 has had the effect of reducing fund
balance as indicated:
• General Fund ($ 1,491,160)
• Solid Waste Enterprise Fund ($ 1,798)
• Agricultural Administration Fund ($ 190,202)
