Adopt a Resolution designating Mayor Robert Taylor as the voting delegate
for the League of California Cities Annual Conference.
The League of California Cities annual conference will be held in Sacramento
on September 5 through September 8, 2007. During the Annual Business meeting
on September 8, 2007, the League membership considers and takes action on
resolutions that establish League policy. In order to vote at the Annual
Business Meeting the City Council must designate a voting delegate. The
voting delegate must be registered for the conference and must be present at
the business meeting.
There is no fiscal impact associated with this item.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BRENTWOOD DESIGNATING MAYOR
ROBERT TAYLOR AS THE VOTING DELEGATE FOR THE LEAGUE OF CALIFORNIA CITIES
ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING TO BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2007.
WHEREAS, The League of California Cities Annual Business meeting will be
held on September 8, 2007, and
WHEREAS, The League of California Cities Bylaws require that a city’s voting
delegate be designated by the City Council and that the voting delegate must
be registered to attend the conference and be present at the business
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that
1) The City Council designates Mayor Robert Taylor as the voting delegate
for the League of California Cities Annual Conference Business meeting to be
held on Saturday, September 8th, 2007
2) That the City Council directs the City Clerk to transmit a copy of this
resolution to the League of California Cities.

a regular meeting held on the 24th Day of July 2007 by the following vote:
