RECOMMENDATION
Reject the claim of Christopher Bentley that was presented on June 7, 2006 as recommended by the City’s third-party adjuster, Municipal Pooling Authority of Northern California.

BACKGROUND
Christopher Bentley presented a claim in the amount of $1,315.95 for an incident that took place on May 8, 2006 at the intersection of Fairview Avenue and Lone Tree Road, Brentwood. Claimant alleges he hit an unmarked island when making a left turn. The claim is being recommended for rejection because the island is preceded by double yellow lines and reflectors and there is no indication of the existence of a dangerous condition of public property.
