Reject the claim of Greg and Shelley Gonzales presented on March 8, 2006, as
recommended by the City’s third-party adjuster, Municipal Pooling Authority
of Northern California.
Greg and Shelley Gonzales presented a claim in the amount of $206.75 for an
incident that took place on December 15, 2005, at 375 Tulare St. in
Brentwood. Claimant alleged that their 1988 Honda Accord was improperly
towed because of an expired registration. At the time of the tow, the
vehicle had expired registration as of April 2, 2005. There was a
registration in progress indicated on the DMV printout dated May 18, 2005.
According to the printout, the vehicle needed a smog certification prior to
issuance of a current registration. The claimants had failed to do this as
of December 15, 2005.
