Reject the claim of John A. Alfonso presented on February 24, 2004 as
recommended by the City’s third party adjuster, Contra Costa County
Municipal Risk Management Insurance Authority and the City Attorney.
Claimant, John A. Alfonso, presented a claim in the amount of $1,700.00 for
damage to home and personal property from city trees. Claimant states that
in October of 2003 their home, RV, boat, and concrete work had suffered
damage caused by the city trees. He further states that the gutters of his
home have been laden with waste for months, and that multiple cleanings have
The trees are not causing the dangerous condition of public property. The
subject trees are also not a nuisance.
