Reject the claim submitted by John and Ann Lenoci on December 19, 2003 as
recommended by the City Attorney.
Claimants, John and Ann Lenoci, presented a claim in the amount of $75.00
for damage sustained to their vehicle on December 16, 2003 at the corner of
Central and Fairview where the new church is being constructed. The
claimants state that while traveling west on Central they were motioned
forward by a construction worker and hit a pothole causing front end
alignment damage to their vehicle.
City staff has determined that the pothole in question was associated with
trench work performed by a private contractor working on the new church at
the southwest corner of Central Blvd. and Fairview Avenue. The claimants
have been notified of the responsible party.
No fiscal impact at this time.
