Reject the claim submitted by Dennis Cordova as recommended by City
Claimant, Dennis Cordova, presented a claim in the amount of $496.46 for an
incident that took place on June 28, 2003, in the westbound land of Highway
4 and Sand Creek Road. The claimant stated that he hit two 15” patched holes
that were left over from prior constructions, which destroyed the front left
hub and knocked vehicle out of alignment.
Staff has determined that P G & E had trenched in that location and did not
properly restore the surface. The claimant has been notified that P G & E is
the responsible party, and is working to settle the matter with them.
No fiscal impact at this time.
