RECOMMENDATION
Reject the claim submitted by Rick Melgoza as recommended by the City’s third-party insurance adjuster, Contra Costa County Municipal Risk Management Insurance Authority and the City Attorney.

BACKGROUND
Claimant, Rick Melgoza, presented a claim in the amount of $451.28 for an incident that took place on March 28, 2003 at 12:40 p.m. on Sunset Road in Brentwood. The claimant stated that he was driving westbound on Sunset Road when a small rock from a City vehicle hit his windshield.

FISCAL IMPACT
