SUBJECT: Presentation on Shepherd’s Gate and Signature Developers proposed Battered Women’s Shelter
Shepherd’s Gate is a faith-based organization governed by a Board of Directors who set and approve all functions of Vision-Casting, Operations, Procurement of Funds, Capital Improvements, Long Range Planning and Ministry Direction. Shepherd’s Gate has earned a reputation in Northern California for rebuilding shattered lives. Since 1984, they have helped over 6,800 homeless women and children by providing a safe haven for women and their children who are homeless because of abusive relationships, addictions, loss of financial support and other factors.
An information packet was provided at the last meeting (copy attached) on the Shepherd’s Gate organization including their Mission Statement and description of their Long-Term Campus and 30-Day Crisis Shelter operations. Also included are preliminary elevations for Signature Developers proposed Bonnickson Women’s Crisis Center.
