Set October 22, 2002, as the public hearing date to consider the appeal by Council Members Annette Beckstrand and Bill Hill.
On September 3, 2002, the Planning Commission held a public hearing to consider Minor Subdivision No. 360-01 and Conditional Use Permit No. 01-24 for Lucia Albers to develop a mixed-use commercial project known as Tri-City Plaza, to be located at the southeast corner of Lone Tree Way and the realigned Fairview Avenue. The Commission voted 4-1 to approve this Minor Subdivision and Conditional Use Permit application.
By the attached letter submitted September 16, 2002, as required by Section 17.880.003.D of the Zoning Ordinance, Council Members Annette Beckstrand and Bill Hill submitted a written statement as to where they believe there was an error or abuse of discretion made by the Planning Commission in the consideration and action on the matter being appealed. Per Sections 17.880.002 and 003.B and E (Appeal Procedure and Set Hearing) the appeal letter is being forwarded to the City Council.
To allow for the required noticing staff is recommending that the date be set for October 22, 2002.
