RECOMMENDATION 
Reject the claim presented by Kimberly Lombardi related to a September 25, 2001 event as recommended by the City’s third-party insurance adjuster, Contra Costa County Municipal Risk Management Insurance Authority and the City Attorney.

BACKGROUND
On September 25, 2001, Kimberly Lombardi presented a claim against the City for $100,000.00 alleging she was injured on school grounds at the Edna Hill School located at 140 Birch Street, near the school’s gymnasium. She alleges that her foot landed on uneven pavement and loose gravel in the area which had orange fence netting lying on the ground. She further alleged that the City failed to inspect and repair dangerous conditions on school grounds.
