Reject claim presented by Brian Segelke as recommended by the City’s third-party insurance adjuster, Contra Costa County Municipal Risk Management Insurance Authority and the City Attorney.
The claimant presented a claim for $2,242.96 for alleged damage to his vehicle. The incident took place on January 13, 2001 at approximately 11:00 p.m. on Concord Avenue near Balfour Road. According to the claimant, he was driving on Concord Avenue when he encountered a pothole apparently in the road. This claim has been tendered to Sun Cal Companies pursuant to the City’s rights under Encroachment Permit No. 00-116. Should the claim be pursued, the matter will be retender to Sun Cal Companies.
