BACKGROUND
The State-Local Transportation Partnership Program (SLTPP) was implemented in 1989 to assist local agencies to fund and construct transportation improvement projects. The reimbursement ration has varied from year to year depending on the total eligible cost of all eligible projects that have been nominated by local agencies. The reimbursement ratio for projects in Cycle 9 is 16.59% of the total eligible costs. The projects approved by Caltrans for reimbursement are:

Walnut Boulevard Extension - Dainty Avenue to Central Boulevard $130,895
(CIP Project 33651, now 336-3051)
Sycamore Avenue - East of Route 4 to East Sycamore Court 48,618
(This project was incorporated into Conditions of Approval of developer.)
Griffith Lane - McClarren Road to Balfour Road 67,853
(CIP Project 33680, now 336-3080)

Total Eligible Reimbursement $247,366

The City is required to execute program supplements to the master State-Local Transportation Partnership Program Agreement No. SLTPP-5300 and pass a resolution identifying the projects and the official authorized to execute the documents on behalf of the City in order to receive reimbursement.
