Speakers desiring answers to questions should direct it to the Council and, if relevant, the Council may direct it to the appropriate staff member.

All matters listed on the consent calendar are considered routine in nature and will be enacted by one motion. If discussion is required, that particular item will be removed from the consent calendar and will be considered separately.

  1. Approve Minutes of October 10, 2000.
  2. Approve a Resolution revising the Water Service Worker I/II classification description and transferring the current Water Service Worker I to the Utility Billing Division of the Department of Finance and Information Systems, effective November 1, 2000 and authorizing the purchase of one vehicle and equipment.   3. Authorize the City Manager to sign an agreement with Brown/Caldwell Association for preparation of City of Brentwood Urban Water Plan. (T. Head)
  4. Approve a Resolution approving a purchase agreement with Ed and Starlene Austin for the Balfour Road Improvements II Projects. (J. Stevenson/M. Kirby)
  5. Approve a Resolution approving a purchase agreement with James Tachella for the Sand Creek Road Project, CIP Project No. 3061. (J. Stevenson/M. Kirby)
  6. Approve a Resolution authorizing the execution of a quitclaim deed for portions of Road ‘B’ (a.k.a. Continente Avenue) of Brentwood Irrigated Farms Subdivision Number Three to two property owners adjacent to Road ‘B’. (J. Stevenson/M. Kirby)
  7. Approve a Resolution authorizing the execution of an Easement Quitclaim Deed to William H. Benson and Joy E. Benson for a portion of 61 Minnesota Avenue. (J. Stevenson/M. Kirby)
  8. Approve a Resolution authorizing contract amendments for the extension of time to June 30, 2001 for 14 professional design and service agreements. (J. Stevenson/M. Huber)
  9. Annual Review and adoption of a Resolution updating the City’s Investment Policy. (P. Ehler)

The Council may adopt reasonable regulations at the onset of the public hearing to facilitate public testimony. These regulations may include time limits. In the absence of such regulations, the public hearing shall follow the protocol for Citizen Comments.

  1. Consideration of an Ordinance approving Rezone 00-13, creating standards for Outdoor Dining and Merchandise Display uses in the public right of way in the Central Business Zone. (M. Oshinsky)
  2. Consideration of an ordinance amending Chapter 8, Section 8.36.30 of the Brentwood Municipal Code pertaining restrictions on tobacco advertising and promotion. (D. Beougher)
