Reject claim presented by Devonda Hicks as recommended by the City’s third-party
insurance adjuster, Contra Costa County Municipal Risk Management Insurance
Authority and the City Attorney.
The claimant presented a claim for $403.05 for damage to her windshield. This
incident took place on June 26, 2000 at 4:30 p.m. at the intersection of Balfour
Road and Deer Valley Road. The incident occurred when a rock from a big gravel
truck hit the claimant’s windshield. The claimant was unable to identify the
company who owns the truck, however, the truck possibly relates to work being
performed by Brookfield Homes.
