of a Resolution awarding the construction contract for the Village Drive
Street Lighting Project (CIP No. 336-3087) to Brown & Fesler, and
authorizing the City Manager to execute the agreement and necessary documents
in the amount of $72,027.00 and grant the City Manager authority to execute
change orders up to 10% of the contract amount.
August 10, 1999, by Resolution No. 99-186 the City Council of Brentwood
authorized the City Manager to execute an agreement with Robert Gray and
Associates for the design of said project.
the bid opening on August 24, 2000, a total of four (4) bids were received.
The bids were reviewed and the lowest responsive, responsible bid
was received from Brown & Fesler, in the amount of $72,027.00

3. Tennyson Electric Inc. $75,300.00
4. Wingard Engineering $89,125.00
City has received a grant of $56,000 for this project from the Community
Development Block Grant Program administered by the County.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BRENTWOOD AWARDING THE CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT TO BROWN & FESLER FOR THE VILLAGE DRIVE STREET LIGHTING PROJECT, CIP PROJECT NO. 336-3087, AND GRANTING THE CITY MANAGER AUTHORITY TO EXECUTE CHANGE ORDERS UP TO 10% OF THE CONTRACT AMOUNT
the City Council entered into a agreement on August 10, 1999 with Robert
Gray and Associates, Inc. for the design of the Village Drive Street Lighting
Project (CIP No. 336-3087); and
the bid opening for said project was held on August 24, 2000 and Brown
& Fesler was determined to be the lowest responsive, responsible bidder
for the amount of $72,027.00.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED
by the City Council of the City of Brentwood, that the City shall award
the construction contract to Brown & Fesler in the amount of $72,027.00
for the Village Drive Street Lighting Project (CIP No. 336-3087).
IT FURTHER RESOLVED
that the City Manager is granted the authority to execute change orders
up to 10% of the contract amount.
