Support resolution in support of Senate Bill 1809 as recommended by the City of Brentwood Park and Recreation Commission.
Resolution in support of Senate Bill 1809 was passed by the City of Brentwood Park and Recreation Commission on June 22, 2000.
Senate Bill 1809 is a bill that directs a small portion of federal transportation funds for transportation enhancement projects such as revitalizing downtown pedestrian streetscapes, improving bike and pedestrian facilities and access to transit, and creating scenic highway rest areas and tourist welcome centers.
With adoption of the City of Brentwood Master Trails Plan, the City of Brentwood would be eligible for consideration in funding from SB 1809 to expand our trail network. Approval of this resolution will add City of Brentwood support towards passage of the bill.
