CITY OF BRENTWOOD
SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA FOR COUNCIL GOAL SETTING WORKSHOP
February 24, 2007

A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Brentwood was called to order at 9:05 a.m., at the Brentwood Technology Center, 101 Sand Creek Road, Presentation Room, Suite B, Brentwood, CA 94513, with Mayor Taylor presiding.

Present: Council Members Becnel, Brockman, Richey, Stonebarger, Mayor Taylor
Absent: None

PUBLIC COMMENTS – None.

REVIEW AGENDA

CONDUCT COUNCIL GOAL SETTING WORKSHOP – No formal action was taken on the following items:

1. Presentation on Decision Making (D. Landeros)

2. Review of City Strategic Plan. Council discussion and direction provided to staff regarding Strategic Plan, with any final decision to be made at a future City Council meeting.

3. Review of Community Facilities Financing and Phasing Plan and Capital Improvement Projects. Council discussion and direction provided to staff regarding the Community Facilities Financing and Phasing Plan and Capital Improvement Projects, with any final decision to be made at a future City Council meeting.

OLD BUSINESS

Council Member Brockman excused himself due to a financial conflict of interest due to the fact that his property is within 500 feet of the subject property

4. Reconsideration of Council action taken on February 13, 2007, to waive the good faith deposit provision of the purchase and sales agreement with Kevin Vornhagen related to the termination of the real estate escrow for 2010 Elkins Way.

Motion by Becnel, seconded by Richey, to reconsider waiving the good faith deposit provision of the purchase and sales agreement with Kevin Vornhagen related to the termination of the real estate escrow for 2010 Elkins Way. Yes votes: Becnel, Richey, Stonebarger, Taylor. Abstained: Brockman. Motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT

There being no further business the special meeting was adjourned at 2:12 p.m.
