CITIZEN COMMENTS At this time the public is permitted to address the Youth Commission on items that are on the Consent Calendar or not on the agenda. Persons addressing the Youth Commission are required to limit their remarks to five (5) minutes unless an extension of time is granted by the chair subject to approval of the Youth Commission. Please file your name with the chair on the form provided at the podium. Speakers desiring answers to questions should direct it to the Youth Commission and, if relevant, the Commission may direct it to the appropriate staff member.

CONSENT CALENDAR All matters listed on the Consent Calendar are considered routine in nature and will be enacted by one motion. If discussion is required, that particular item will be removed from the Consent Calendar and will be considered separately.

1. Approve regular meeting minutes of October 4, 2006. (T. Brinkman)
2. Update on Fiscal Status for 2006/07 budget year. (L. Hocking)

SCHEDULED MATTERS
3. DISCUSSION ITEM Review of Homecoming Parade, Monster Mash, and the Hometown Halloween events. (S. James/S. Simmons/M. Escobar)
4. ACTION ITEM Commissioners to determine location for the December 6, 2006 meeting and set a budget limit of $500 for the event. (T. Brinkman)
5. ACTION ITEM Commissioners to select dates and locations for the 2007 Ski and Snowboard trips and set a budget limit of $7,000 for the event. (L. Hocking)
6. DISCUSSION ITEM Commissioners will discuss participation at the Annual Chamber of Commerce Holiday Parade and Breakfast with Santa Events. (L. Barnesmoore)
7. DISCUSSION ITEM Update on preparation for the first Teen Forum on December 7, 2006. (J. Martinez)
8. ACTION ITEM Commission will discuss ideas for the teen activities night and set a budget of no more than $500 for the event. (C. Mendez)
