REGULAR MEETING Wednesday, December 3, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. City Council Chambers 734 Third Street Brentwood, CA 94513 CALL TO ORDER ROLL CALL PRESENTATION(S) ANNOUNCEMENT(S) AGENDA REVIEW CITIZEN COMMENTS CONSENT CALENDAR • Motion to approve the consent calendar. SCHEDULED MATTERS As Commissioner Conder was absent, Chair Strauss advised that he has been speaking with Heritage High School to finalize a date. He hopes to have a date finalized by the end of the week. The delay in finalizing the date is due to scheduling conflicts with other proposed school events using the theater. This agenda item will need to be tabled to a future meeting as the date has not been finalized. In the meantime, the subcommittee will meet to finalize the details for the movie night. City Staff Liaison Gary commented that she needs as much advance notice as possible to design the flyer, set-up registration codes, and advertise the event. She also suggested asking middle school leadership classes if they want to be involved and help to plan the event. She also advised that the commissioners should start to gather raffle items or door prizes if they plan to have them at the event. • Motion to table the Middle School Activity Night movie event as the event date is yet to be confirmed with Heritage High School. 6.
