• Veteran’s Park (City)
We have reached an understanding with the artist concerning the contract and are ready to move forward. The City Attorney has deemed that the changes do not require the contract go back to City Council for approval. Maintenance: City of Brentwood Facilities (Pks & Rec.) will maintain.
• Farmer Statue (City)
The mold making process is complete and the foundry, Frostad Atelier will pick up the sculpture on Jan. 9th for casting. Storage location or temporary citing is still unknown. Maintenance: TBD.
• Heron Park (City)
At the Jan. PAC meeting Scott Runion proposed concept was approved for further development. Scott will be at the Jan. PAC meeting to present a model of his proposed sculpture. Maintenance: Will be covered by existing LLD.
• Lone Tree Way Under Crossing (City)
The interviews were held on November 15th and Vicki Scuri from Lake Forest Park, Washington was selected. Ms. Scuri was approved by the PAC at their Dec. 13th meeting and met with the Project Development Team for the first time on Dec. 20th. Maintenance: TBD
• Brighton Station (Discovery Builders)
The $104,000 check was received on November 2nd. No public art project included in project.
• Granville Estates (D.R. Horton)
This project was installed in December and early Jan. Maintenance: Maintained by LLD.
• Vineyards at Marsh Creek (Shea Homes)
At the Dec. 13th PAC meeting three adjustments were approved on the public art agreement between the City of Brentwood and the developer. These art component changes will be brought to the Arts Commission at the Jan. 10, 2006 meeting. Maintenance: Public art needs to be factored into the LLD.
• Rose Garden (Pulte Homes)
On Dec. 13th the City Council’s approved the seasonal banners.
Two mosaic projects were selected by the selection panel and approved by the PAC in Dec. There will be three mosaic benches, by Laurel True, in Rainbow’s End Park and two in Kaleidoscope Park. The artist team of Dannenbeck will produce mosaic seating for the Central Park, two gazebo medallions and soundwall treatments to the exterior of the walls surrounding the development. Maintenance: Cloud Park and mosaic benches will be maintained by LLD. Banners will be maintained by HOA (LM w/Rodger Miller 10/3/05)
• S&S Farms (Lennar Homes and Empire)
They are paying the 5/10th of 1% in lieu fee. The funds will not be fully received until late 2006 at the earliest. No public art project included in project.
• Siena Village aka, Cox Properties (Blackhawk/Nunn)
This project was approved by the PAC on Oct. 11th, by the Arts Commission on Oct. 26, and by the City Council’s on Dec. 13th. Both developers on the Cox Property (see A.F. Evans) will be using the same public artist team, Wowhaus. Maintenance: Maintained by LLD.
• Senior Multi-Unit development on Cox Properties (A.F. Evans)
See Sienna Village. Maintenance: Maintained by owner, A.F. Evans.
• Prewitt Ranch (Suncrest Homes)
The PAC approved the artist recommendation from the developer for one part of the public art budget to include: gazebo, bridge railing, and seating at their Sept. 13th. A public art plan is being developed. Maintenance: Maintained by LLD.
• Garin Corners (Signature Properties)
The PAC approved the concept and design for this project by Roger Berry at their Sept. 13th meeting and by the Arts Commission on Sept. 28th. Maintenance: Large piece maintained by owner, Signature Properties. Small piece maintained by HOA.
• Barrington Homes (DeNova Homes)
A public art plan was drafted by staff and was approved by the PAC Artists from the pre-qualified artists pool will be considered. Maintenance: Maintained by LLD.
• Palmilla (formerly Marseilles) (Pinn Brothers)
This is a new project. A public art plan is being developed. Maintenance: Maintained by LLD.
• Estates at the Preserve (Passport Homes)
This is a new project. The developer has not yet decided which option they will select. Maintenance: If public art is included in the project it will be maintained by LLD.
• Carmel Estates (Pulte Homes)
This is a new project. No TSM yet. Maintenance: If public art is included in the project it will be maintained by LLD.
• Parkside Villas (Baca Properties)
This is a new project. Developer not yet contacted. Maintenance: If public art is included in the project it will be maintained by LLD.
