LIMIT THEIR REMARKS TO FIVE (5) MINUTES UNLESS AN EXTENSION OF TIME IS GRANTED BY THE CHAIR
SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION. SPEAKERS DESIRING ANSWERS TO

ALL MATTERS LISTED ON THE CONSENT CALENDAR SECTION WILL BE CONSIDERED
ROUTINE BY THE COMMISSION AND WILL BE ENACTED BY ONE MOTION. THERE WILL BE NO SEPARATE 
DISCUSSIONS OF THESE ITEMS. IF DISCUSSION IS REQUIRED, THAT PARTICULAR ITEM WILL BE REMOVED FROM
THE CONSENT CALENDAR SECTION AND WILL BE CONSIDERED SEPARATELY.

Approve minutes of regular meeting of January 25, 2001.

Acceptance of staff reports from Park Services Manager/Recreation Services Supervisors.

Accept information update from East County Horseman's Organization (ECHO)

Accept memo on closing Saturday Lap Swim (S. Barry)

Accept City Council staff report on acceptance of aquatic center (C. Bronzan)

Accept Equestrian sub committee report (B. Margesson)

Approve Family Aquatic Center use of facilities agreement with local swim teams (S. Barry).

Accept update on bicycle subcommittee (J.Hansen).

SCHEDULED MATTERS:

Discussion/approve recommendation to City Council for award of bid for Skate Park (J. Hansen/K. DeSilva).

Discussion/recommendation regarding design of neighborhood park/detention basin in Yamanaka subdivision (K.DeSilva/J.Hansen/Lyons Homes staff).

Appointment of subcommittee for sports field design/development/funding (C. Bronzan).

Consideration of budget workshop for March 29, 2001 (C. Bronzan).

Update on priority use of fields subcommittee (K. DeSilva)

Discussion/recommendations on department/commission web page improvements (T. Homan)

Discussion of California Association of Park and Recreation Commissioners and Board Members annual banquet (C. Bronzan)

Update on Sunset Park batting cages/concession stand (K. DeSilva).

Discussion to set date for department/commission open house (M. Kaiser).

Update on Aquatic Center customer feedback process/form (S. Barry).

Approve staff recommendation to develop late registration fee policy for department programs (T. Taylor).

Approve staff recommendation to develop coaches incentive program for youth sport programs (T. Taylor).
