SCHEDULED MATTERS

2. DISCUSSION ITEM: Update from City Wide Clean-Up subcommittee. Cheryl Nickerson updated the BANC committee with where the committee is at this time. Cheryl suggested that perhaps after the presentation from Diane Burgis of Friends of Marsh Creek, that perhaps the City Wide Clean-Up committee can gain some ideas for Brentwood’s City-Wide Clean-Up day by working with her.

3. DISCUSSION ITEM: Discuss meeting frequency for the committee and any changes to BANC’s Mission Statement and Membership Requirements. The BANC committee determined that there is no need to change the frequency of BANC’s meetings, nor did the committee feel the need to change BANC’s Mission Statement or Membership Requirements.

INFORMATIONAL REPORTS FROM COMMITTEE MEMBERS, SUBCOMMITTEES AND LIAISONS: Steve Smith reported that at the previous night’s City Council Meeting that the City of Brentwood’s final budget would not be known until the Contra Costa County’s Assessor’s Office released figures required to make choices for the City Budget. Steve stated that those numbers would be forthcoming from the Assessor’s Office the following week.
