Poldina Scherff has also asked Roger Stromgren, Facilities/Landscape Manager, to attend this meeting to discuss the types of monitoring equipment that maybe available for purchase. Roger Stromgren introduced a company by the name of Q Star ( www.qstartech.com/ ) to the Commission. On their web site, products shown gave audible warnings to the perpetrator and it also takes a picture of the alleged violator. This unit can be interchanged to other locations by moving them to other posts. Once the posts are affixed to certain locations, the cameras are able to go to the various posts to capture different areas of the park.

Commissioner Koncher hopes the Arts Commission would like to take on this project in the near future. Poldina Scherff commented she is not sure what the Civic Center plans are for the walls yet.
