AGENDA REVIEW:

CITIZEN COMMENTS: PERSONS ADDRESSING THE ARTS COMMISSION ARE REQUIRED TO LIMIT THEIR REMARKS TO FIVE (5) MINUTES UNLESS AN EXTENSION OF TIME IS GRANTED BY THE CHAIR SUBJECT TO APPROVAL OF THE ARTS COMMISSION. SPEAKERS DESIRING ANSWERS TO QUESTIONS SHOULD DIRECT SAME TO THE ARTS COMMISSION AND, IF RELEVANT, THE COMMISSION MAY DIRECT SAME TO APPROPRIATE MEMBER FOR REPORT.

CONSENT CALENDAR: ALL MATTERS LISTED ON THE CONSENT CALENDAR SECTION WILL BE CONSIDERED ROUTINE BY THE COMMISSION AND WILL BE ENACTED BY ONE MOTION. THERE WILL BE NO SEPARATE DISCUSSIONS OF THESE ITEMS. IF DISCUSSION IS REQUIRED, THAT PARTICULAR ITEM WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE CONSENT CALENDAR SECTION AND WILL BE CONSIDERED SEPARATELY.

  3. Accept Agenda and Minutes from Arts and Culture Commission of Contra Costa County
  4. Accept report from A Day in the Park Subcommittee (C. Robinson).

  1. Discussion of role of Sue Barry as liaison with the Arts Commission (C. Bronzan).
  2. Update on probable joint commission bus tour of Brentwood on June 27, 2001 (C. Bronzan).
  3. Discussion of joint workshop for June 26, 2001 with City Council regarding projects and programs
    (C. Bronzan).
  4. Discussion of re-scheduling Art Commission regular meeting to June 20, 2001 (S. Barry).
  5. Update on concert series (P. Scherff).
  6. Discussion of Arts Commission role in summer concert series (C. Bronzan).
  7. Update on Barbecue (C. Robinson/S. Barry).
  8. Update on Commission shirts and business cards (S. Barry).
  9. Update on ability to utilize the City’s Grant Coordinator for possible art grants (S. Barry).
  10. Update on surveillance camera for the City fountain (S. Barry).
